The PXF4AEC2-JBMA1 is a self-tuning 1/16 DIN (48 x 48mm) compact temperature and process controller with a 50ms sampling speed. The self-tuning algorithm learns the process dynamics during startup and sets PID gains automatically — saves the panel builder from manual loop tuning on commissioning day.
Panel fit and field integration
The 1/16 DIN (48 x 48mm) cutout is the standard panel-mount size for this class of controller — fits the same hole as every other 1/16 DIN unit, so swapping in a failed controller from another brand is straightforward as long as the wiring and input type match. No DIN-rail adapter needed; it clips into the panel cutout with the provided bracket. The 50ms sampling speed is fast enough for most thermal processes but not so fast that it picks up electrical noise from nearby contactors — keep the thermocouple or RTD input wiring away from power cables in the panel, same as any controller.
