Controller profile and fit
The Fuji Electric PXF4AEE2-FVSA1 is a self-tuning 1/16 DIN (48 x 48mm) compact temperature and process controller with a 50ms sampling speed — fast enough for thermal loops in packaging, plastics, or HVAC where the process variable changes in seconds, not minutes. The 1/16 DIN panel cutout (48 x 48mm) is the standard footprint for single-loop controllers; it drops into the same hole as most Fuji PXF-series or competing 1/16 DIN units, so a panel retrofit swaps the faceplate without re-cutting the panel.
Panel integration note
The 1/16 DIN form factor (48 x 48mm panel cutout) is the most common single-loop controller size. Depth behind the panel is typically around 100mm including the terminal block; verify clearance against the enclosure backplate. The controller clips into the cutout with a spring-loaded bracket — no screws needed from the front. Terminal blocks are pluggable screw-type, so the wiring harness can be pre-assembled and the controller swapped without re-terminating field wires.
