The 1/16 DIN form factor (48 x 48 mm panel cutout) fits standard panel-mount enclosures and leaves room alongside other quarter-DIN or larger controllers on the same door. A 50 ms sampling speed means the controller updates its PID output every 50 milliseconds — fast enough for most thermal processes (extruder zones, oven zones, packaging seal bars) but not for sub-100 ms thermal transients like injection mold cavity temperature.
