The PXF4AER2-0VKA1 is a self-tuning 1/16 DIN (48 x 48mm) compact temperature and process controller with a 50ms sampling speed. That 50ms cycle means it catches fast thermal transients in processes like injection molding barrel zones or packaging seal-bar heaters, where a slower controller would let the temperature overshoot past the setpoint before the PID loop corrects. The self-tuning algorithm auto-configures the PID constants on startup, saving the commissioning engineer the iterative Ziegler-Nichols trial on each zone.
Panel integration
The 1/16 DIN (48 x 48mm) faceplate fits the standard panel cutout, leaving a 45mm depth behind the panel for the enclosure depth budget. Spring-cage terminals on the rear accept 0.2–2.5 mm² solid or ferruled stranded wire. No DIN-rail adapter needed — it panel-mounts with the supplied bracket, so it goes into an operator station or a machine junction box the same way as a panel-mount indicator.
