The PXF4AES2-FVMA1: The 1/16 DIN (48 x 48mm) form factor is the standard panel cutout for a single-loop controller — it slides into a 45 x 45mm panel hole with the supplied gasket. The 50ms sampling speed is fast enough for most thermal processes (ovens, extruder zones, packaging seal bars) but not for high-speed injection mold cavity control where 10ms or faster is typical. Self-tuning means the controller auto-calculates PID gains during the first heat-up, saving commissioning time on repetitive thermal loads.
Where it fits in the panel
The 48 x 48mm DIN cutout is the same footprint as every other 1/16 DIN controller on the market — swaps directly into an existing panel hole without re-cutting. Depth behind the panel is standard for this class; allow clearance for the rear screw terminals and any option cards.
