What the 50ms sampling speed means for your loop
The PXF4AES2-JBKA1: A 50ms sampling speed on a 1/16 DIN controller is fast enough for most thermal processes — plastic injection barrel zones, packaging seal bars, reflow oven profiles. It catches temperature excursions before they overshoot the setpoint by more than a few degrees on a typical 2-3 second thermal time constant. For faster processes like thin-film extrusion or high-speed hot-melt adhesive lines, you'd want a 25ms or 10ms controller, but for 90% of industrial thermal control this is adequate.
Panel integration and mounting
The 1/16 DIN (48 x 48mm) cutout is the standard panel-mount footprint for temperature controllers worldwide. It clips into the panel from the front, secured by the mounting bracket. Depth behind the panel is typically around 100mm including the terminal block — verify clearance against your enclosure depth before cutting the hole.
