The PXF4AES2-JVVA1 is a self-tuning 1/16 DIN (48 x 48mm) compact temperature and process controller with a 50ms sampling speed. That 50ms loop rate means it catches fast thermal events — think injection mold nozzle control or thin-film extrusion where a standard 100ms+ controller lets the temperature overshoot before the PID corrects. The self-tuning algorithm gets you out of manual PID tuning hell on the first batch; it's not a lab toy, it's a line-side tool.
Panel fit — 1/16 DIN footprint
The 48 x 48mm 1/16 DIN cutout is the standard panel-mount size for this class — drops into any existing DIN rail or panel cutout that's already punched for a Fuji PXF or a competing 1/16 DIN controller. No adapter plate needed, no re-drilling. The 50ms sampling is fast enough for most process loops, but if you're chasing sub-10ms events (like a hot-runner valve gate), this isn't the controller for that — the loop speed is the limiter, not the thermocouple.
