The PXF4AES2-MBSA1 is a self-tuning compact temperature and process controller in a 1/16 DIN (48 x 48mm) panel-mount housing. The 50ms sampling speed means it reads and updates the control output every 50 milliseconds — fast enough for thermal processes with short time constants, like plastic injection barrel zones or small lab ovens, but not for electrical or mechanical events where millisecond response is needed.
This class of controller mounts into a standard 1/16 DIN panel cutout (45 x 45mm) and handles temperature or process PID loops in industrial ovens, packaging heat-seal stations, extruder barrel control, and environmental chambers. The self-tuning feature auto-calculates PID coefficients on startup, reducing commissioning time on a new line.
