What it is and what it does
The PXF5ABC2-JBTA1 is a self-tuning 1/8 DIN (48 x 96mm) compact temperature and process controller with a 50ms sampling speed. That 50ms loop time means it catches fast thermal transients — useful on thin-film extrusion, injection mold temperature zones, or any process where a standard 100ms+ controller would overshoot on a step change.
Panel integration notes
1/8 DIN cutout (45 x 92mm) fits standard panel punches. Self-tuning algorithm means you can skip manual PID gain scheduling on most thermal loads — set the process setpoint, let the controller characterize the response over a few cycles. The 50ms sampling pairs with fast-acting SSR outputs; don't pair it with a slow electromechanical contactor on the same loop or the controller will outrun the actuator.
