What it is and what it does
The PXF5ABE2-JVGA1 is a self-tuning 1/8 DIN (48 x 96 mm) compact temperature and process controller with a 50 ms sampling speed. That 50 ms loop rate means it catches fast thermal transients in processes like injection molding or extrusion where a slower controller would overshoot. The self-tuning algorithm adapts PID parameters on the fly, so commissioning is a set-it-and-trim-it affair rather than a manual tuning session.
