What it is and what it does
The PXF5ABR2-FVVA1 is a self-tuning 1/8 DIN (48 x 96mm) compact temperature and process controller with a 50ms sampling speed. That sampling rate means it catches fast thermal transients in processes like injection molding or packaging seal bars — standard 250ms controllers would miss the overshoot. The self-tuning algorithm adapts PID coefficients on startup, so you don't need to manually calculate gain for each zone.
Where it fits in a panel
The 1/8 DIN cutout (48 x 96mm) is a common panel footprint — fits into existing DIN-sized panel holes without adapter plates. Depth is compact enough for shallow enclosures. The controller is self-powered from the loop or auxiliary supply; no separate power module needed for the control circuit.
