What it is and what it does
The PXF5ABR2-MBCA1 is a self-tuning 1/8 DIN (48 x 96 mm) compact temperature and process controller with a 50 ms sampling speed. That sampling rate means it can respond to fast thermal transients — useful on injection molding barrels, packaging seal bars, or any process where a standard 100 ms or 250 ms loop would lag behind the actual temperature swing.
Where it fits in a panel
The 1/8 DIN cutout (48 x 96 mm) is a standard panel-mount footprint. It slides into the same hole as any other 1/8 DIN controller, so retrofitting an older unit or specifying into a new panel is a direct swap on the cutout. The 50 ms sampling is fast enough for closed-loop PID on most thermal processes without needing a dedicated high-speed module.
