The PXF5ACC2-JVMA1 is a Fuji Electric self-tuning 1/8 DIN (48 x 96mm) compact temperature and process controller with a 50ms sampling speed. That 50ms cycle means it catches fast thermal events — exothermic reactions in a reactor or the tip temperature on a soldering iron — without overshoot hunting. The self-tuning algorithm adapts PID gains on the fly, so you don't need a laptop and a step-response test to commission it; just wire the thermocouple and let it learn the loop.
Integration notes
The 1/8 DIN form factor (48 x 96mm) fits the standard panel cutout you'd find in any temperature-control cabinet. The self-tuning feature cuts commissioning time on a multi-zone oven or a packaging line's heat-seal station — set the setpoint, let the controller figure out the PID constants, and move on to the next zone. The 50ms sampling is fast enough for most thermal processes; if you're controlling a 3mm-diameter thermocouple in a gas flame, that's the speed you need to avoid lag-driven oscillation.
