What this controller is and what the sampling speed means for your loop
The PXF5ACR2-FBHA1 is a self-tuning 1/8 DIN (48 x 96mm) compact temperature and process controller with a 50ms sampling speed. That 50ms cycle means it can react to process changes every 50 milliseconds — fast enough for most thermal loops (ovens, extruders, packaging seal bars) where the time constant is measured in seconds, not minutes. For a 1/8 DIN panel footprint, that's a responsive controller that won't overshoot on a fast-responding heater.
The 1/8 DIN cutout (48 x 96mm) is a standard panel-mount size — drops into the same hole as any other 1/8 DIN controller. No DIN-rail adapter needed; it clamps into the panel with the included bracket. The self-tuning algorithm means you don't need to manually PID-tune the loop on startup; let it run through one or two thermal cycles and it sets the gains itself. Good for replacing an older controller on a process line where the original tuning parameters have been lost.
