The Fuji Electric PXF5ACR2-JVGA1 is a self-tuning 1/8 DIN (48 x 96mm) compact temperature and process controller with a 50ms sampling speed. That 50ms loop time means it can handle fast thermal processes like injection molding barrel zones or small furnace zones where overshoot needs tight damping. The self-tuning algorithm gets PID gains in the ballpark on startup, saving the commissioning engineer a manual step-response test.
