What it is and what it does
The Fuji Electric PXF5ACS2-JBTA1 is a compact 1/8 DIN (48 x 96mm) temperature and process controller that brings self-tuning and a 50ms sampling speed to a panel-mount package. The 50ms sampling means it can respond to fast thermal transients — useful on injection-molding barrels, extrusion zones, or any process where a standard 100ms loop would lag behind the load change.
Panel integration note
The 1/8 DIN (48 x 96mm) cutout is a standard panel-mount footprint, so it drops into existing DIN-rail adapter panels or standalone enclosures without rework. The self-tuning algorithm reduces commissioning time on multi-zone systems — set the setpoint, enable autotune, and the controller calculates PID gains from the process response.
