Controller overview
The Fuji Electric PXF5ACS2-JVVA1 is a self-tuning 1/8 DIN (48 x 96 mm) compact temperature and process controller with a 50 ms sampling speed. The 50 ms sampling means it can respond to rapid thermal changes in processes like injection molding or packaging heat-seal bars, where a slower loop would overshoot. The self-tuning algorithm automatically sets PID parameters on startup, reducing commissioning time for a new oven or extruder zone.
Panel integration
The 1/8 DIN form factor (48 x 96 mm panel cutout) fits standard DIN-rail-mounted enclosures and panel-mount cutouts. The 50 ms sampling speed is fast enough for most thermal loops but not intended for high-speed motion or pressure control. Mount with adequate airflow around the vents; the controller dissipates heat through the case, and stacking multiple units without spacing can reduce ambient temperature margin.
