What the 50ms Sampling Means for Your Loop
The PXF5AEA2-JBVA1: A 50ms sampling speed means the controller updates its measurement and control output every 50 milliseconds. For temperature loops on plastic extruder barrels, ovens, or packaging seal bars, that is fast enough to catch thermal overshoot on a 1-second time constant. For a fast-responding process like a flow or pressure loop, you may want a faster controller, but for most thermal processes this is well matched.
The 1/8 DIN form factor (48 x 96mm panel cutout) is a standard panel-mount size. It fits the same cutout as many Fuji PXF and legacy PXG controllers, so swapping a failed unit in the field is a drop-in replacement — no panel rework needed. The self-tuning algorithm reduces commissioning time on a new zone: set the setpoint, enable autotune, and let the controller calculate PID gains.
