The PXF5AEP2-JVMA1 is a self-tuning 1/8 DIN (48 x 96mm) compact temperature and process controller with a 50 ms sampling speed. That sampling rate means it catches fast thermal transients — think injection-mold nozzle or small-diameter extruder barrel where a standard 100-200 ms loop would overshoot. The self-tuning algorithm sets PID gains on startup, so you don't need a commissioning engineer to dial in the loop.
The 1/8 DIN (48 x 96mm) panel cutout is a standard footprint — fits existing panel punch-outs without rework. Spring-cage terminals on the rear accept 0.2–2.5 mm² solid or ferruled stranded wire. Mount it in a clean, dry enclosure; the controller is not rated for washdown environments, so keep it out of the spray zone.
