The PXF5AER2-FVVA1 is a self-tuning 1/8 DIN (48 x 96 mm) compact temperature and process controller with a 50 ms sampling speed. That sampling rate means it catches fast thermal transients in processes like injection molding or extrusion barrel zones where a standard 200 ms controller would lag behind the setpoint. The self-tuning algorithm auto-adjusts PID parameters on startup, so you don't need a laptop to dial in a new zone.
