Controller overview
The PXF5AEY2-0BCA1 is a self-tuning 1/8 DIN (48 x 96 mm) compact temperature and process controller from Fuji Electric. Its 50 ms sampling speed suits it for processes where fast response to temperature or process variable changes is needed — injection molding barrel zones, packaging seal bars, or small furnace zones where overshoot or lag would scrap product. The 1/8 DIN form factor (48 x 96 mm) fits standard panel cutouts, so a panel OEM can swap it into an existing DIN-sized slot without re-cutting the panel. The self-tuning algorithm reduces commissioning time: it learns the thermal response of the load and sets PID parameters automatically, which is useful on lines where operators tune by trial.
