The PXF5AEY2-MVCA1 is a self-tuning 1/8 DIN (48 x 96mm) compact temperature and process controller with a 50ms sampling speed. That sampling rate matters because it catches fast thermal transients in processes like injection molding or packaging seal bars where a slower controller would let temperature overshoot past the setpoint. The 1/8 DIN form factor (48 x 96mm) is the standard panel cutout for a single-loop controller — it slides into an existing DIN panel opening without re-machining the gland plate. Self-tuning means the PID parameters are calculated automatically on the first heat-up, which saves the commissioning engineer from manual loop-tuning iterations.
