What this controller is and what it does
The Fuji Electric PXF5APC2-JBCA1 is a self-tuning temperature and process controller in the 1/8 DIN form factor — 48 mm wide by 96 mm tall. The 50 ms sampling speed means it updates the control output every 50 milliseconds, which is fast enough for most thermal loops (ovens, extruders, packaging seal bars) without oversampling noise. Self-tuning automates PID parameter setup on first run; expect it to cycle through a few overshoot/undershoot steps before settling.
Integration notes
The 1/8 DIN cutout (45 x 92 mm per IEC 61554) fits standard panel punches. Depth behind the panel is roughly 100 mm including the terminal block; allow clearance for wiring and airflow. The controller accepts thermocouple, RTD, or analog process inputs — verify the input type matches your sensor before wiring.
