The PXF5APE2-JBVA1 is a self-tuning 1/8 DIN (48 x 96mm) compact temperature and process controller with a 50ms sampling speed.
The 1/8 DIN form factor (48 x 96mm) is a standard panel cutout — fits existing DIN-sized panel openings without adapter plates. The 50ms sampling speed is the loop update interval; for a PID loop controlling a 2-3 second thermal time-constant load (typical for a 1 kW cartridge heater in a die), that gives roughly 40-60 samples per time constant, which is enough for stable self-tuning without oscillation.
