The Fuji Electric PXF5APP2-JBVA1 is a self-tuning 1/8 DIN (48 x 96mm) compact temperature and process controller with a 50ms sampling speed. That 50ms sample rate means it catches thermal transients on fast-moving injection molding barrel zones or packaging seal bars before the process drifts — every shot the same.
The 1/8 DIN (48 x 96mm) form factor fits the standard panel cutout — no adapter plate needed for a retrofit into existing 1/8 DIN slots. The self-tuning algorithm reduces commissioning time on thermal systems: it learns the process dynamics on startup rather than requiring manual PID tuning. Spring-cage terminals on the rear accept 0.2–2.5 mm² solid or ferruled stranded; strip length 8 mm avoids whiskers under the cage.
