What it is and what it does
The PXF5APS2-0BVA1 is a self-tuning 1/8 DIN (48 x 96mm) compact temperature and process controller with a 50ms sampling speed. That 50ms sampling rate means it catches fast thermal transients — useful on injection molding barrels, extrusion zones, or any process where a standard 100ms or 250ms controller would lag behind the heating element's response.
Where it fits in the panel
The 1/8 DIN form factor (48 x 96mm panel cutout) is the standard footprint for single-loop controllers. It slides into the same cutout as most Fuji PXF, PXG, or PYZ series units, so if you're retrofitting an older Fuji controller on a machine, the panel hole is already the right size. The self-tuning algorithm means you don't need to manually PID-tune it on startup — it learns the process dynamics during the first heat-up cycle.
