The PXF5APS2-MBVA1 is a self-tuning 1/8 DIN (48 x 96 mm) compact temperature and process controller with a 50 ms sampling speed. That 50 ms sampling means it updates the control output every 50 milliseconds — fast enough for most thermal processes (ovens, furnaces, extruder zones) but not for sub-cycle power control or fast-responding pressure loops. The self-tuning algorithm auto-calculates PID constants on startup, which saves the integrator the manual Ziegler-Nichols step during commissioning.
