What the 50 ms sampling buys you on a process loop
The PXF9ABP2-JBCA1 samples the process variable every 50 ms — fast enough to catch thermal transients in injection moulding, extrusion, or packaging heat-seal stations where a standard 250 ms controller would miss the overshoot peak. Self-tuning means the controller auto-calculates PID coefficients during the first heat-up cycle, so you don't need a laptop or a tuning chart to get the loop stable. On a retrofit, that saves the half-day of step-testing a manual PID would take.
Panel fit — 1/4 DIN is the standard cut-out
The 96 x 96 mm face and 1/4 DIN cut-out (92 x 92 mm panel opening) match the installed base of Fuji PXF and legacy PXG controllers — no panel rework needed when swapping a failed unit. The compact depth behind the panel leaves room for the wiring duct and terminal blocks in a crowded enclosure; it fits the same slot as a Eurotherm 3216 or Omron E5CC without adapter plates.
Lifecycle — still in current production
The lifecycle stage is current — Fuji Electric continues to manufacture this order code, so you can buy it as a critical spare for an active line without worrying about a last-time-buy window closing.
