The 1/4 DIN form factor (96 x 96 mm panel cutout per IEC 61554) fits standard panel punches — no adapter plate needed for retrofit into existing temperature controller cutouts. Compact depth behind the panel allows mounting in shallow enclosures where full-size 1/4 DIN controllers with deeper chassis would interfere with terminal blocks or DIN-rail wiring.
