The PXF9ABR2-MBTA1: Its 50 ms sampling speed catches thermal transients that slower controllers miss — useful on injection moulding barrels, extrusion zones, or packaging seal bars where a late read means a scrap part.
Panel fit and wiring constraints
The 1/4 DIN cut-out (92 x 92 mm per IEC 61554) is the standard panel opening for this class — drops into the same hole as any Omron E5CC or Yokogawa UT35x, so a retrofit swap needs no sheet metal work. The 96 mm depth behind the panel leaves enough room for the screw-terminal block and a 24 VDC power supply in a shallow enclosure.
