The PXF9ABS2-FVVA1 is a Fuji Electric 1/4 DIN (96 x 96mm) temperature and process controller that samples at 50ms — fast enough to catch thermal transients in injection molding, extrusion, or packaging seal bars where a standard 250ms loop would miss the overshoot. The self-tuning algorithm adjusts PID parameters on startup, so the commissioning engineer does not need to manually calculate gain or reset time for each zone — the controller maps the thermal response during the first heat cycle.
Panel fit and integration constraints
The 96 x 96mm face occupies a standard 1/4 DIN panel cutout — the same footprint as legacy Fuji PXG and PXR series controllers, so a retrofit swaps into the existing hole without sheet-metal modification. The 50ms sampling speed means the controller can drive a solid-state relay or phase-angle fired SCR directly on fast-moving lines without an external ramp generator.
