50ms loop speed for fast thermal processes
The PXF9ACR2-MBHA1: That 50ms sample rate means the controller updates its PID output every 20 cycles on a 50 Hz line — fast enough to hold a ±0.5°C band on a 2 kW cartridge heater driving a 50g aluminum die, where a 200 ms controller would let the temperature overshoot by 3–4°C before the integral term catches up.
Panel cutout and signal integrity
The 1/4 DIN form factor (96 x 96mm panel cutout per IEC 61554) fits standard panel punches — no adapter bezel needed for most enclosures, and the depth clears a standard 100mm deep back box with room for the screw terminals. For signal integrity in a VFD-heavy panel, keep the thermocouple or RTD input wires separated from the power and control wiring by at least 100mm — the controller's input stage is sensitive, and a VFD switching at 4 kHz can couple common-mode noise into an unshielded TC run, causing the PV to wander ±2°C.
