What the 50 ms sampling buys you on a thermal loop
The PXF9ACS2-0VCA1 samples the process variable every 50 ms — fast enough to catch thermal transients in injection moulding or packaging seal bars where a standard 250 ms controller would alias the temperature spike. The self-tuning algorithm adapts PID gains during the first heat-up cycle, so you skip manual loop tuning on commissioning.
Panel cut-out and wiring constraints
The 1/4 DIN (96 x 96 mm) bezel fits the standard 92 x 92 mm panel cut-out — no adapter frame needed for a DIN-rail or panel-mount enclosure. The 50 ms update rate means the input filter time constant is short; if you run thermocouple extension wire alongside power cables, keep the separation above 100 mm or use shielded twisted-pair to avoid injecting 50/60 Hz noise into the fast ADC.
