Panel fit — 1/4 DIN cutout
The 96 x 96 mm 1/4 DIN form factor fits the standard panel cutout (92 x 92 mm per DIN 43700). The controller snaps into the cutout and is retained by the mounting bracket — no DIN rail, no backplane. The 50 ms sample rate is the spec that matters for loop tuning: if the process time constant is under a few seconds, the controller keeps up without the output cycling.
