50 ms sampling — what it buys you on the line
The PXF9AEC2-JVCA1: The 50 ms sampling speed means this controller updates its PID output every 50 milliseconds — fast enough to catch thermal overshoot on a 1-second heater time constant, which is where injection-mold barrel zones and hot-runner tips live. Self-tuning PID means it runs an autotune cycle on startup and sets the P, I, and D gains automatically. On a multi-zone oven or packaging sealer, that saves the hour of manual Ziegler-Nichols tuning per zone.
1/4 DIN panel cutout — the standard slot
The 96x96 mm (1/4 DIN) face fits the standard panel cutout found on every control cabinet door. The compact depth leaves room behind the panel for wiring duct and terminal blocks — no need to spec a deeper enclosure just for the controller. Process controller means it handles more than temperature: pressure, flow, or level inputs with linear scaling. The same part covers a furnace zone or a flow-control loop.
