Self-tuning PID and process input flexibility
Self-tuning capability automates the PID parameter calculation at startup — the controller applies a step change to the output, measures the process response, and sets the proportional band, integral time, and derivative time without manual Ziegler-Nichols tuning. Because it's a process controller, the input accepts thermocouple, RTD, or analog signals (voltage/current) depending on the input module fitted; the PXF9AEE2-MBCA1 order code specifies the input type, so confirm the sensor type against the BOM before panel cutout.
Panel integration — DIN rail clamp and cutout dimensions
The 1/4 DIN form factor (96 x 96 mm panel cutout per IEC 61554) fits the standard panel punch used across Fuji Electric's PXF9 series — the controller slides into the cutout and secures with the included mounting brackets; no DIN rail required for the housing itself. Depth behind the panel is approximately 100 mm including the terminal block; allow clearance for wiring ducts and bend radius on the signal and output cables.
