Panel fit and loop speed
The PXF9AER2-MBMA1 is a 1/4 DIN (96 x 96 mm) temperature and process controller — it drops into the standard panel cutout for that form factor, so no adapter plate or custom machining is needed for a retrofit or new build. The 50 ms sampling speed means the controller updates its input and recalculates the output every 50 milliseconds — fast enough for most thermal loops in ovens, furnaces, and packaging seal bars, where the process time constant is measured in seconds, not milliseconds.
Self-tuning and process control
Self-tuning capability lets the controller automatically determine PID parameters during startup or after a process upset — it runs a short autotune cycle, measures the process response, and sets the gain, integral, and derivative terms without an operator manually stepping the loop. As a compact 1/4 DIN unit, it fits applications where panel space is tight but a full-featured temperature or process controller is required — the 96 x 96 mm face provides a readable display and accessible programming keys without crowding the enclosure layout.
