The C100N4WM is a basic frame — a bare, manually operated, withdrawable 4-pole chassis rated 1000 A at 50 °C, belonging to the ComPacT NS630b…1600 new generation family. It ships without a control unit or protection module, so the buyer selects and installs the trip unit separately to define the protection curve (thermal-magnetic or electronic).
That makes coordination with downstream breakers simpler: you size the upstream frame for the full fault current and rely on the Ics rating to hold after the first event.
Withdrawable mounting on a backplate with a 70 mm connection pitch. The neutral pole is on the left. The frame occupies 306 mm width, 260 mm height, and 147 mm depth — plan for a 4-pole cutout in the switchboard and sufficient depth for the racking mechanism. IP40 front face, IK07 impact resistance; pollution degree 3 per IEC 60947. The front face is Class II shock-protected, so no additional insulating barrier is required on the escutcheon.
