The Schneider Electric EZEROTDSRY is a direct-mount rotary handle designed for the EZC250 and EZCV250 molded-case circuit breaker frames. It mounts on the front of the breaker and provides a red handle with a yellow front plate — the standard colour scheme for visible-break disconnect handles in North American and European panel practice. The handle includes a hasp that accepts up to three padlocks, allowing lockout/tagout (LOTO) for up to three maintenance crews or shifts simultaneously. This is a control accessory, not a standalone disconnect — it operates the breaker mechanism through the front escutcheon.
Direct mounting means the handle attaches directly to the breaker front cover without an intermediate linkage or door-mounted mechanism. This is the simplest retrofit — you remove the standard breaker cover and install the rotary handle in its place. The handle colour (red) and front plate colour (yellow) are fixed; there is no field-reversible colour kit. The three-padlock hasp is a safety feature for LOTO compliance. Each padlock shank diameter should fit the hasp opening — standard 5/16 in (8 mm) shackles work. The handle position (ON/OFF) is visible through the yellow plate cutout, giving a clear mechanical indication of breaker state even if the panel door is closed.
