The GS1NG3 is a TeSys GS fuse switch disconnector body — the main chassis that accepts the fuse carrier and operating handle for a 3-pole DIN-rail-mounted disconnecting point. Rated at 250 A operational current in AC-23A and AC-23B duty at 400 V, it handles motor switching and distribution disconnects where the load includes moderate overloads during start-up. Breaking capacity is 2000 A at 400 V AC-23B, and making capacity is 2500 A at the same voltage — meaning it can close onto a fault and interrupt it within those limits without welding or arcing damage.
Designed to IEC 60947-3 (switch-disconnector standard) and the fuse-assembly standards IEC 60269-1 and IEC 60269-2, so it coordinates with gG/gI fuse links for branch-circuit protection. Fire resistance tested to IEC 60695-2-1: the fuse cover withstands 1562 °F (850 °C) and the body 1760 °F (960 °C), which is a glow-wire test that confirms the thermoplastic won't propagate a fire under fault conditions.
Integration notes
Power circuit connections accept bars or screw terminals for 95 to 240 mm² flexible copper — sized for the 250 A continuous thermal current (Ith) at 40 °C ambient. Tightening torque for power terminals is 25 N·m — a standard torque wrench setting for this conductor range.
