The GV3L326 is a 3-pole motor circuit breaker from the TeSys Deca range, rated 32 A continuous and built for motor protection in AC-3 duty. That 32 A In is the uninterrupted current it carries — match it to the full-load current of your motor, not the nameplate horsepower alone. The magnetic trip fires at 448 A, so it handles inrush without nuisance tripping on DOL starts up to about 15 kW at 400 V. That's a high-fault rating for a 32 A frame — it lets you place this breaker close to a large transformer or a high-capacity bus without needing upstream current-limiting fuses.
The 55 mm width and 132 mm height fit a standard motor-starter footprint — leaves room alongside a contactor on the same rail. Connection pitch is 17.5 mm without spreaders, so power wiring lands on a predictable grid. Tighten lugs to 6 N·m. IP20 finger-safe terminals are standard for enclosed panels. No washdown rating — keep this behind a gland plate or enclosure door.
What it isolates and where it runs
The rotary handle gives a visible break position. Ambient range is -20 to 60 °C operating, -40 to 80 °C storage, with no derating needed up to 3000 m altitude. Climatic withstand per IACS covers marine and humid environments.
