The GV7AU525 is an undervoltage trip (MN release) from the TeSys range, designed to drop out the GV5, GV6, or GV7 manual motor protector when the control voltage falls below a set threshold. That's another SKU I don't need to second-guess — it's a standard undervoltage coil, not a special. It operates on a 525 V AC 50 Hz control circuit, with a trip threshold of 0.35 to 0.7 Ue. The rated insulation voltage is 690 V AC per IEC 60947-1, with UL 508 and CSA C22.2 No 14 approvals at 600 V AC. That covers most North American and European panel builds without a separate isolation transformer.
Integration notes
Screw-clamp terminals accept 1 mm² to 1.5 mm² conductors — solid, flexible with ferrule, or flexible without. Tighten to 1.2 N·m. The inrush draw is 10 VA, holding at 5 VA, so the control transformer sizing is straightforward. Operating time under 50 ms per IEC 60947-1 means it clears fast enough for most coordinated protection schemes.
