Overview
The HMIBMP0I74D2001 is a Schneider Harmony iPC modular box PC, Performance type, with 8 GB RAM DDR3 and 512 KB MRAM internal memory, two mini PCIe expansion slots, and a 24 V DC supply. It measures 254.0 mm wide by 205.74 mm high and supports wall, flat, or book mounting. This unit has been discontinued by Schneider as of 2023-11-15.
This box PC runs on an Intel QM87 chipset and provides 8 GB of DDR3 RAM (internal, not expandable) plus 512 KB MRAM for non-volatile data retention. The 8 GB RAM supports moderate HMI/SCADA runtimes and data logging; the MRAM holds critical parameters across power cycles without a battery. Two full-size mini PCI Express slots accept expansion cards for fieldbus, additional COM ports, or wireless. Two internal SATA HDD/SSD bays accept slide-in drives (HMIYMADSDD1) for RAID via Intel Rapid Storage Technology, plus one CFast slot and one mSATA slot. The display output supports up to 3200 x 2000 pixels at 60 Hz. Cooling is fanless by default; a fan is required only when PCI/PCIe cards above 3 W are installed. The watchdog timer is configurable from 1 to 255 ms.
Applications
Harmony iPC box PCs of this class serve as the compute platform for HMI, SCADA, and edge analytics in industrial automation — packaging lines, material handling, water treatment, and machine tool cells. The Performance type targets applications requiring higher processing throughput than the Universal series, such as multi-touch visualization or data aggregation from multiple fieldbuses.
