Overview
The HMIPUH7A0P01 is a Schneider Harmony iPC panel PC, a 15-inch active matrix colour TFT LCD with LED backlight running at 1024 x 768 pixels XGA resolution and 16 million colours, driven by an Intel Atom N270 processor at 1.66 GHz with 2 GB RAM DDR3 and a 500 GB enterprise hard disk. It ships with MS Windows XP Professional SP3 multi-language and a Vijeo Designer run time demo, powered by 240 V AC with a 130 W consumption, rated IP65 and NEMA 4X on the front panel for washdown environments.
This panel PC serves as both the operator interface and the computing platform for machine-level HMI, SCADA nodes, and data logging. The Atom N270 1.66 GHz processor with 512 KB cache handles Windows-based runtime environments, while the 2 GB RAM DDR3 and 512 KB SRAM support tag databases and recipe storage. The 500 GB enterprise hard disk provides local data archiving for production records and alarm logs. Connectivity includes dual Gigabit Ethernet (10BASE-T/100BASE-T/1000BASE-T), DVI-I video output, two RS232C serial ports, and multiple USB ports (USB 2.0 and USB 3.0) for peripherals. The analogue resistive touch panel provides reliable gloved-hand operation in industrial settings, and the fanless cooling design eliminates moving parts that could collect dust or fail in harsh environments.
