This mechanical interlock mounts between two vertically stacked contactors and physically blocks the armature of one from closing when the other is engaged. It is designed for reversing or dual-contactor applications where a mechanical barrier is required alongside electrical interlocks. The LA9FH4H fits LC1F and CR1F frames in the 265 to 330 A range, both top and bottom positions.
Applications
TeSys F mechanical interlocks are used in reversing motor starters, two-speed motor drives, and changeover schemes where two contactors share a common load and must never be closed simultaneously. The 2 vertical configuration suits compact panels where side-by-side mounting is not possible.
