The MGPCM18RX is a metering extension box in the Schneider Electric PowerPacT 4 range, designed for panelboard metering applications. It mounts on the right-hand side of a compatible panelboard and accommodates a remote display for local power monitoring. This box is intended for 400/630 A panelboards with 18 ways, and also fits 800 A panelboards with 18 ways — covering the common distribution board sizes in commercial and light industrial switchboards. The enclosure is finished in RAL 9001 (cream white), matching the standard PowerPacT panelboard aesthetic for a uniform appearance in the switchroom.
Integration notes
The box provides 11 cut-outs for cable entry or conduit connections, giving the panel builder flexibility in routing metering wiring without field-drilling the enclosure. It is a dedicated metering extension — not a general-purpose junction box. The remote display interface is pre-configured for the PowerPacT 4 metering module, so the commissioning engineer can expect plug-and-play signal compatibility with the panelboard's internal bus.
