Controller overview
The PXF5ACY2-0BCA1 is a self-tuning 1/8 DIN (48 x 96mm) compact temperature and process controller from Fuji Electric, sampling at 50ms. That 50ms rate means it catches fast thermal transients in processes like injection molding or packaging seal bars where a slower loop would overshoot the setpoint. The 1/8 DIN form factor fits a standard panel cutout, leaving room alongside other DIN-sized instruments in a multi-zone control layout.
Panel integration
At 48 x 96mm, the PXF5ACY2-0BCA1 occupies a standard 1/8 DIN cutout. When laying out a panel, account for the depth behind the bezel — typical Fuji controllers in this series need about 100mm clearance for wiring and ventilation. The self-tuning algorithm reduces commissioning time: it auto-adjusts PID parameters during the first heat-up, so you're not manually tuning each zone on startup.
