CPU with process-oriented memory
The CJ1G-CPU43P is a CJ1-series CPU unit from Omron, built for mid-scale automation. It carries 64K Words of program memory — enough for a multi-axis machine or a small process skid — and communicates via RS-232C out of the box. The CPU supports up to 40 modules across 3 racks, so you can build a system with a mix of digital, analog, and specialty I/O without hitting the backplane limit early. Programming is done through CX-One, Omron's integrated development environment. The CPU includes a battery backup for program and retained data, which means a power loss won't wipe the logic. No display on the unit — all status and diagnostics come through the software or the LED indicators on the front. Approved for CE and cULus, so it fits into panels destined for North American and European markets without extra certification paperwork. Operating temperature range is 0°C to 55°C, which covers most indoor control cabinets.
