Analog I/O for CP1 PLC
The Omron CP1WMAD11.2 is an analog expansion module for the CP1 PLC series, giving the CPU two analog inputs and one analog output through screw terminals. This adds a measured-value channel and an analog control output without changing the base unit. Supply power spans 5–24 VDC, so the module can draw from the PLC backplane or an independent 24 V rail. The wide range eases integration in panels with mixed bus voltages.
Integration Notes
Mounts directly on the CP1 expansion bus; no external adapter needed. Screw terminals accept stranded or solid field wiring for the analog signals. Verify signal type (voltage or current) against the CPU configuration before commissioning. The module is powered from the PLC bus or an external 5–24 VDC supply. If using external power, ensure the supply shares a common reference with the CPU to avoid ground loops.
