What this sensor is and why it fits your BOM
The E2Q6-N30MF3-H is a rectangular body proximity sensor — 40 x 40 x 118 mm — that mounts to a flat surface with M5 screws. It gives you 30 mm of unshielded sensing range, PNP output, and NO/NC operation that you select at the terminal block. The housing is PA (polyamide), connection is a terminal block with M20 conduit opening. So if your panel calls for a limit-switch style footprint but no physical contact, this is the part. Supply voltage covers 12 to 24 VDC (10 to 30 VDC tolerance), which is standard for most 24 V industrial controls. The PNP output means it sources current — make sure your input card is sinking.
